This is a nice loop ride for motorbike riders that affords great views of Priest Lake and the surrounding area. The trail contains rocks and tree roots, plus it's narrow and steep in places, so this ride is rated for advanced riders. The Lakeview Mountain Trail #269 and Reeder Bay Trail #365 are singletrack trails open to motorcycle riders, mountain bikers and horseback riders. No ATV use is allowed.

To reach the trailhead, go north from Priest River toward Nordman, Idaho, on Idaho Highway 57. Watch for the Lakeview Mountain Trailhead between milepost 35 and 36 across from Bismark Meadows. Parking is limited to about 4 vehicles or two stock trailers. The Lakeview Mountain Trail climbs up to the top of Lakeview Mountain, following several switchbacks. The first views of the lake and its surrounding area become visible about 2 miles into the ride. Enjoy the views on top of the mountain of the Selkirk Mountains, Priest Lake and surrounding countryside. Then, you will descend the mountain in gentle switchbacks and come to the Reeder Bay Trail #365. Take an optional side trip over to the Reeder Bay outlet if you wish. Go south on Reeder Bay Trail over to an old ski lift area. You'll connect with Forest Road #1335, and follow that to the west around the shoulder of Lakeview Mountain. Toward the bottom of the hill, you'll come to Forest Road #502. Follow that in a northwest direction back to Idaho Highway 57 and return to the trailhead. Be sure that your motorbike is street legal if you ride the highway.
