You really do not want to cut corners when it comes to safety gear, especially at night.

Reflective Vests

With reflective vests, in addition to overall visibility and reflective quality, you will want to consider the fit like when looking for the right running watch. If it is not intended as a hydration pack, the vest should be as lightweight and breathable as possible. If the vest is uncomfortable, you are less likely to wear it.
